The GOTV (Get Out the Vote) Committee focuses on increasing voter turnout and participation in local, state, and federal elections. The committee is responsible for gathering volunteers, canvassing, coordinating mass voting drives, voter registration events, absentee ballot distribution/chase, Ride to the Polls programs, and many other GOTV aspects. While the heaviest GOTV action is during election season, the committee can always use help getting out the vote. Community Outreach Committee

The Community Outreach Committee is responsible for volunteer work done by members of the party, whether that be Habitat for Humanity, Vanderburgh Humane Society, cleaning playgrounds, delivering for Meals on Wheels, etc. The committee is also responsible for charitable donations and sponsorships, such as Adopt-a-Highway involvement. The Community Outreach Committee places an emphasis on diversity and reflecting the city of Evansville’s true demography, and focuses resources on reaching out to minority and underserved communities. The committee is a neighborhood presence for the party, partnering with smaller organizations to reach community members. Party Building and Training Committee
Chair – Gina Robinson Ungar
The Party Building and Training Committee focuses on establishing long standing volunteer relationships with Democratic supporters in the county, typically via the help of precinct chairs and captains. The committee helps train volunteers to function with the party system, and makes party action more efficient and effective.
